Game Day, Saturday 11/11/2017

St. Elisabeth's is hosting a Game Day on Saturday, November 11th, 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Bring your favorite board or card games, or play the ones already here. $15 covers entrance, refreshments, and all the games you can play. There will be raffle tickets available for basket prizes as well. Come one, come all!

St. Elisabeth's is now partnering with (and housing) two very different congregations in order to reach out and help our Floral Park neighbors. Here for seven years already is St. Thomas' Indian Orthodox Mission Church with Father Scaria Philip and Father Philip Scaria (below left). Joining us is The Bridge Community Church with Pastor Evan Peet. We are so blessed to have them here, and we are looking forward to all the ways this partnership will blossom and grow.

Ashes to Go

For the sixth year, on Ash Wednesday, February 14, 2018 a team from St. Elisabeth's will take ashes up on the train platform in Floral Park (inbound side, by the escalator) to offer those who would otherwise be unable to participate in this sign of repentance and the keeping of a Holy Lent.  The team plans to be in place from 7:00-9:00 a.m.
